Trusted national leaders, carrying the work forward
Five ministries and leaders across Mozambique — each bringing vision, relationships, and tireless commitment to their own communities.”
Evangafrica — Victor & Christina
Victor felt God’s call to work with children off the street. when he was around 20 years old. Eventually he began raising orphans in his own home in a family-like style. He taught them about the love of God in word and deed. Through the years Victor and his wife Christina have raised 100’s of kids. In the last few years they began a school which now serves 700 students (100 on full scholarships) and are now in the early stages of building a clinic for a nearby community that will be a tremendous blessing to 1000’s of people in need.
Amina Faz-Vez
For nearly twenty years, Amina and her late husband Abel, a longtime friend, have cared for about forty-five orphaned children. Abel also planted and pastored churches and translated Scripture into tribal languages. Sadly Abel passed away in 2026; Amina continues the work.
Erin Mitchell & Clarisa Sipiya
CFO-MOZ began by serving one orphanage, where Erin has served for almost thirty years. She and her close friend Clarisa, from Zimbabwe, serve tirelessly with the girls in the orphanage and the school on the property. They are on call twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. They share the love of Jesus with the children, mentor them and care for them daily.
Chosen Children — Grace Center
Renuka and Joe (who live in Canada) founded Chosen Children; Oscar and his family lead Grace Center, built on a once overgrown hill near Chimoio. It now includes a preschool, an elementary school, literacy and sewing classes for women, discipleship, Saturday outreach and sports training. Children and adults are hearing and learning God’s word and seeing His love in action.
New Life Ministry — Elias & Cibele
Elias and Cibele minister in a village marked by severe poverty and witchcraft. They are running a quality preschool, caring for abandoned widows, and working with orphans living with families. CFO-MOZ helped build a well, provided funds for them to build a home, brought electricity, to the village and is now helping build a primary school. Sharing the love of Christ with the people they serve is transforming lives.
